Regarding the essay about innovation, technology and productivity, I found a very interesting document on the subject of mass production and technology. It discusses how mass production has been moving from an affordable standardized process, with everything produced looking alike and having no particular characteristics or traits, towards an equally cheaper massive production with more personalized features on the end product. It also analyzes the impact of production costs on the level of individuality of the products that are going to be manufactured, studying the different areas of the production process that are affected by the impact of technology in the reduction of costs.
